PRINCETON, N.J. – Dartmouth volleyball freshman
Emma Engstrom was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Â
The Big Green had another undefeated weekend, this time winning their home tournament for the first time since 2015 (a time when there were only three teams and two matches each). The team defeated UNH, Holy Cross and UConn all by scores of 3-1.
Â
This is the first time Dartmouth has been 6-0 to start the season since 2010 and it is the only Ivy team to remain undefeated this far into the year.

Engstrom – named MVP and All-Tournament at the conclusion of the weekend – ended up with a total of 15 assists (1.25/set), two aces and a team-leading 65 digs (5.42/set). She is first in the conference in total digs (114) and third in digs/set (4.75).

Dartmouth will close tournament play this coming weekend in Connecticut when it faces Sacred Heart, Hartford and Central Connecticut State.
