NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Dartmouth women's tennis'
Chidimma Okpara competed in the ITA Super Regionals at Yale Friday against a pair of Ivy League opponents.
Okpara opened the day with a two-set victory over Columbia's Winta Tewolde to advance to the next round, where her valiant effort fell short against the tournament's top seed.
In a long battle that featured several deuce games, Princeton's Daria Frayman emerged victorious despite Okpara's strong start to the second set that saw her take an early 2-1 lead over the 2021 ITA Fall Nationals Singles Runner-Up.
The Big Green begin competition in the Brown Classic Saturday.
