BOSTON, Mass. — Seth Weprin of the Dartmouth men's cross country team finished in first place at the New England Championship on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park in Boston.

The Big Green finished in sixth with 192 points. UMass Amherst took first with 92 points. Rounding out the top five was Northeastern (107), Rhode Island (113), Central Connecticut State (127) and Maine (128).

Weprin finished with a time of 24:41 to claim the top spot, followed by Alec Troxell of Maine in second and James Sullivan of Central Connecticut State.

Christian Myers and
Jonathan Reid finished with the same time, 25:48, as they finished 29
th and 30
th.
Ben Williams claimed 53
rd with a time of 26:09 while
Jason Norris' time of 27:05 put him in 79
th-place.

Dartmouth is back in action on Friday when they head down to Virginia for the XC23 Invite, hosted by the University of Virginia.
