EARLYSVILLE, Va. — The Dartmouth men's cross country team competed at the XC23 Invite, hosted by the University of Virginia, on Saturday morning. The Big Green finished in ninth place.
Nickolas Scudder of Charlotte claimed the top spot with a time of 23:00.2, 11 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher, Zach Facioni of Wake Forest.
Wake Forest won the race with 47 points. Virginia finished in second with 68 points followed by Texas in third with 102 points. The Big Green finished with 225 points.
Will Daley paced the Big Green with a time of 23:46, claiming 20
th.
Albert Velikonja finished in 41
st-place with a time of 24:07.3. Rounding out the scoring for Dartmouth was

th,
James Lawrence (24:24.3) in 62
nd and
Declan O'Scannlain (24:29.3) in 70
th.
Dartmouth next competes at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championship at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx on Friday, October 28.
