BOSTON, Mass. — The Dartmouth women's cross country team finished in seventh place at the New England Championship on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park in Boston.
Eve Feuerbach of Holy Cross won the race with a time of 17:53. Quinnipiac took the next two spots as Emily Young and Liv Distefano finished second and third.
Quinnipiac claimed the top team spot with 26 points as all five runners finished in the top eight. Rounding out the top three were Central Connecticut State in second with 115 points and Northeastern in third with 116 points.
Leading the Big Green was
Anya Hirschfeld in 10
th with a time of 18:37.
Annie Jackson finished the race in 18:55 to take 23
rd followed by
Mia Compton-Engle (19:07) in 27
th. Closing things out for the Big Green was
Payton Weiner (19:04) in 30
th and
Macenna Hansen (19:45).
Dartmouth is back in action on Friday when they head down to Virginia for the XC23 Invite, hosted by the University of Virginia.
