NEW YORK — The Dartmouth men's cross country team returned to Van Cortlandt Park in New York for the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship on Friday afternoon.
The Big Green posted 235 points and took 10th in a field of 33 teams.
"The men had a tough race switching from an 8k to a 10k and they handled themselves very well" said interim head coach
Kendra Foley. "This group has battled through a lot of adversity and came out united and strong."
Will Daley led the way for the Big Green, taking 16
th with a time of 29:52.8 to earn All-Region honors. Next up for Dartmouth was
James Lawrence who finished 46
th, posting a time of 30:43.4.
Declan O'Scannlain took 54
th in 30:50.6. Rounding out the scoring for the Big Green were
Liam Jamieson (30:53.0) in 56
th and
Eric Gibson (30:58.2) in 63
rd.

Syracuse and Harvard finished first and second to claim the automatic bids at next Saturday's NCAA Championship.
