BACK TO CONFERENCE PLAY
The Dartmouth men's hockey team returns to conference play this weekend with a trip to New York to take on Colgate and Cornell. The Big Green square off with the Raiders on Friday evening before taking on fellow Ivy Cornell on Saturday.
LOOKING BACK TO THE FRIENDSHIP FOUR
Dartmouth made their first ever appearance in the Friendship Four this past weekend. The Big Green played #4 Quinnipiac in the first game, with the Bobcats taking a 5-2 win.
Cooper Black made 36 saves in net while
Sean Chisholm and
Matt Hubbarde claimed the goals, both of which came on the power play.
Dartmouth was tasked with another top 20 program in the #14 UMass Lowell River Hawks. The Big Green took a 3-0 lead in the first period through goals from
Tanner Palocsik,
Cooper Flinton and
Luke Haymes. The River Hawks cut the deficit to one goal in the second period before tying the game late in the third and ultimately taking the win in overtime. Black made 36 saves for the second night in a row and picked up his first collegiate point with an assist on Palocsik's goal.
THE STATS
Haymes leads the Big Green in scoring with six goals. Six players are tied for second as
Braiden Dorfman, Flinton, Hubbarde, Chisholm,
Ian Pierce and
Trym Løkkeberg each have two. Palocsik has a team-high six assists while
Cam MacDonald has four.
Tyler Campbell,
John Fusco, Dorfman, Flinton and Hubbarde all have three apiece.

Colgate enters the weekend with a 6-9-1, 4-2-0 record this season. The Raiders are coming off two 3-2 losses to Atlantic Hockey member Niagara over the Thanksgiving weekend.
