Location: Providence, R.I. – Richard Gouse Field at Brown Stadium
Date: Saturday, April 9
The Dartmouth men's track and field team will be competing at two different meets over the next three days, the Tennessee Relays and the Ocean State Invitational.
The Tennessee Relays will be Thursday and Friday at the University of Tennessee's Tom Black Track. The Ocean State Invitational will be on Saturday at Brown University's Richard Gouse Field at Brown Stadium.
TENNESSEE RELAYS
The Big Green will send two multis athletes down to Tennessee,
Karl-Oskar Pajus and
Ryan Cashman.
Pajus will be competing in his first full decathlon in a Dartmouth jersey. He has already set new personal bests this season in the 100m hurdles, discus throw, and javelin.
Cashman will also be competing in his first full decathlon and has also set new PRs in the 100m hurdles, discus, and javelin.
Pajus and Cashman will compete over two days and live results will be available through Adkins Trak Timing Associates. The link can be found above or on the team's schedule page.
OCEAN STATE INVITATIONAL
Myles Epstein will compete in both the 100m and the 200m dash. He currently sits seventh in the 200m dash on the Ivy League performance list.
Justin Stevens will return to take part in the 400m hurdles.
Julien Hinz will run in the open 400m dash while
Rahul Batlanki, third in the Ivy League, will continue his strong start to the outdoor season and compete in the triple jump.
Myles Schreck and
Jake Dalton will throw discus after throwing huge personal bests at the FSU Relays. Schreck's throw landed him in the top-10 in program history while both he and Dalton are ranked in the top-5 in the Ivy League.
Derek Elsholz broke the 60m barrier in javelin at the FSU Relays and now sits fourth in the conference. He will be competing again on Saturday looking to keep his streak of personal bests alive.
