ATLANTA, Ga. – The Dartmouth women's rugby team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Rugby 7s National Championship after finishing with a 2-1 record in pool play.
Competing in Pool B of the Women's Gold division, the Big Green fell to Lindenwood, 31-0, before bouncing back with two wins to end the day. Dartmouth defeated West Chester, 24-7, in game two before taking down fellow Ivy, Brown, by a score of 36-10.
Dartmouth advanced to the quarterfinal round, where they will take on Army West Point on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
If the Big Green advance, they will play at 2:27 p.m. against the winner of Harvard vs. Sacred Heart. The championship game is slated to begin at 5:11 p.m.
