ATLANTA, Ga. – The Dartmouth women's rugby team fell to Lindenwood, 32-0, in the title game of the USA Rugby College 7s National Championship on Sunday.
The second-place finish ties the best finish in program history at the tournament as they finished in second back in 2019.
After going 2-1 in pool play, the Big Green drew Army West Point in the quarterfinal matchup. Dartmouth won by a score of 14-10 to set up a showdown with fellow Ivy, Harvard, in the semifinals.
In the semis, the Big Green took the down the Crimson, 22-17, to advance to the title game against Lindenwood, in a rematch of the opening game and the 2019 7s title game.
The Lions were able to take down the Big Green in the title game to claim their fourth straight Collegiate 7s National Championship.
