HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth men's cross country team won their eighth straight home meet after taking first in the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational on Saturday morning at Pine Park.

The Big Green finished with 29 points to claim the top spot followed by MIT (43) and Maine (64).

Andrew Mah from MIT finished first overall with a time if 25:20.62. Alec Troxell of Maine took second as he crossed the finish line at 25:26.32.

James Lawrence and
Will Daley paced the Big Green as they finished third and fourth. Lawrence crossed the line at 25:35.62 while Daley was just four seconds behind.

Andrew Thompson and
Albert Velikonja nearly finished at the same time as Thompson finished in 25:46.75 to take sixth and Velikonja crossed at 25:46.82 to claim seventh. Rounding out the scoring for the Big Green was
Evan Bork in ninth, finishing with a time of 25:48.35.

Dartmouth is back in action on Friday, September 23 when they head to Franklin Park in Boston for the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
