HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth men's cross country team is set to host the annual Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational on Saturday morning at Pine Park. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11:15 a.m.
The Big Green will compete against Maine and MIT as they look to win their eighth straight home meet.
They narrowly won the 2021 edition of the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational, finishing with 37 points, just two points ahead of SUNY Geneseo. All five runners for the Big Green finished in the top-15, with
Will Daley and
Albert Velikonja taking the top two spots.
Dartmouth is coming off their season opener at the Vermont Invite last weekend which saw
James Lawrence finish in third place.

The Big Green will also have a celebration for long time Track & Field Head Coach Barry Harwick '77 to honor his contributions to the program. There will be a Fun Run prior to the start of the meet as well as a reception and dinner in the evening.
Dartmouth will be off for 13 days before they head to Franklin Park in Boston for the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown on Friday, September 23.
