HANOVER, N.H. — Three student-athletes from the Dartmouth women's cross country team received All-Ivy recognition, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Junior
Madeleine Locher and senior
Emily Levonas were named to the second team for their performances at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championship this past weekend. Senior
Natalie Shapiro earned a spot on the academic team.
Locher finished eighth in Saturday's race with a time of 21:06 while Levonas was right behind in ninth with a time of 21:10.3.
Shapiro earns the academic recognition for her performance on the course and in the classroom this year. Shapiro, an environmental studies major, finished third in the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational earlier this season, helping the Big Green to their ninth-straight home meet win.
The Big Green next compete at the NCAA Northeast Regional on Friday, Nov. 10.
