HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth men's track and field team takes on the other Ivies this weekend in the 2023 Ivy league Indoor Heptagonal Championships at Leverone Field House.
The Big Green have seen much success throughout this season, seeing three program records and numerous top 10 program marks. Dartmouth will look to carry that success into the weekend as it tries to overtake Princeton atop the Ivy League.
David Adams first broke the all-time mark in pole vault in late January when the Big Green won the annual DYC against Yale and Columbia. He later improved that mark at the Yale Giegengack Invitational earlier this month when he cleared 5.18m.
Eric Gibson set the new program record in the 1000m race at the beginning of February at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite at Boston University. Gibson finished the race with a time of 2:21.94.
The other record to have fallen this season was at the hands of
Liam Murray. Murray broke the program record in the 400m race at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational just two weeks ago.
