Dartmouth stumbled in the semifinal before dropping the third place match

HOUSTON — After going undefeated through pool play and winning a quarterfinal match on Saturday, the Dartmouth women's rugby team came up short on Sunday against Lindenwood and Harvard on the final day of the USA Rugby Collegiate 7s Championships.

The Big Green squared off with Lindenwood in the semifinal match, dropping a 10-5 decision with Ariana Ramsey scoring the lone try.

Kristin Bitter and Emily Henrich both found the try zone in the third place match against Harvard to give Dartmouth an early edge, but the Crimson eventually pulled out a 19-12 victory.

Sunday's action concluded the Big Green's 7s season, which was highlighted by a pair of cup victories while hosting the Ivy 7s Championship on April 22.
