HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's cross country team hosts the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational on Saturday morning at the Dartmouth Cross Country Course. The Big Green will run against Vermont and MIT.
The Big Green ran to a win in the season opener last weekend at the UVM Invite as they claimed the top seven spots in the race.
Madeleine Locher led the way for Dartmouth with a time of 17:35.50 to take the individual win.
The Big Green have seen much success during home meets in recent years, winning the last eight. Dartmouth cruised to a win in last season's edition of the race with 16 points after finishing in the top four spots.
Caroline Livingston paced the Big Green with a time of 22:19.63.
Saturday's race will be a 4k rather than the usual 6k due to weather concerns in the Upper Valley.
Results will be available through Millennium Running.
Dartmouth will have a two-week break from competition before running in the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown on Friday, Sept. 29, at Franklin Park in Boston.
