PRINCETON, N.J.—The Dartmouth cross country teams traveled to the Princeton for the Princeton Fall Classic on Friday. The women's team raced first and finished 10th overall while the men's team finished 18th overall.
Senior Caroline Livingston was the top finisher for the women's team as she fished 58th overall with a time of 20:51.1. Madeleline Locher was the second member of the Big Green to finish, she crossed with a time of 20:55.0 which placed her 66th overall. Andie Murray finished 85th with a time of 21:04.1. Bella Pietrasiewicz and Ellie Tymorek closed out scoring for the Big Green as they finished 101st and 106th respectively. Katherine Strong, Claire McDonald, Julia Pye, and Esme Daplyn also ran for the Big Green.
Mac Hadden was the first member of the Big Green to cross the line as he finished 70th overall with a time of 24:05.0. Ashton Bange finished 120th while Baker Pashea crossed 137th. Eric Sankey and Connor Foley closed out scoring as they finished 142nd and 144th.
Evan Bork, Ben Williams, Max Miller, and David Jiang competed for the Big Green as well.
"Today was a great course preview for the Ivy League Championships, which will be back on the Princeton course in two weeks. There was great competition and both the men's and women's team ran well in a fast race. Things are set up well for us to race fast in the championship races come November." Interim Cross Country/Distance Coach Ben True added following the meet.
The Big Green have next weekend off before traveling back to Princeton for the Ivy League Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2.
