OXFORD, Ohio – The Big Green opened up the first day of their mid-season meet at the Miami Invite in record fashion – led by
Logan Pack breaking a decade old team record while scoring a first-place win in the 50 Free with a time of 20.12. On the boards
Aryeh Lesch led the way taking home another first-place finish in the one-meter with a score of 281.85.
The 200 free relays saw lifetime best splits from
Jagger Stachtiaris and
Yan Dvoretskiy in the B-relay.
Colton Rasmussen had a lifetime best time leading off while
Logan Pack had a 19.59 split for another lifetime best in the A-relay. The A-relay's total time of 1:21.06 placed 2
nd over all, also earning the program's #4 all-time top-10 time in the event (Rasmussen, McClelland, Weigel, Pack).
Lifetime bests from
Ronan Fahey, 4:41.60, and
Eddy Chen, 4:53.27, came in the 500 free.
In the 200 IM,
Jacob Turner placed second, swimming a 1:46.81 which places him second on the program Top-10 times list. In addition,
Yan Dvoretskiy and
Jagger Stachtiaris swam lifetime bests with times of 1:48.29 and 1:48.48. Dvoretskiy's time placed him third in the event and he now sits fifth on the Top-10 time times list while Stachtiaris now sits sixth on the Top-10 list.
In the 50 free,
Brandon Lee went a lifetime best in prelims. While in the men's one-meter diving event, all of Dartmouth's divers, Aryeh Lesh,
Everett Tai, and
Mason King, scored top-8 A-final points.
The 400 medley relay saw a lifetime best split from
Colton Rasmussen in the 100 back for the second fastest program time.
Logan Pack hit a college best time also leading off the 100 back for the 4
th best time in the team's all-time top-10 list. The A relay team of Pack, Turner, Dvoretskiy, and Weigel placed second with a 3:15.75, and is now sitting fifth on the team's Top-10 times list.
The Miami Invite continues on Friday, Dec. 4 with the second day of competition.
