CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Plenty of athletes from the Dartmouth men's swimming and diving team qualified for finals in their respective events on Friday, the third and penultimate day of the Ivy League Championships at Harvard.
Yan Dvorestskiy had a nice showing in the 100 fly B Final, placing 12th with a time of 47.62 seconds, the second fastest in progam history.
William McClelland (49.37) and
Adam Ladman (49.93) appeared in the C Final and were 20th and 21st respectively.
Alexander Ye took part in the 400 IM B Final and was 16th with a time of 3:57.39.
Reed Wallace was in the C Final and his time of 4:01.30 was 21st.
Tim Park placed 16th as a B finalist in the 200 free at 1:37.92 and
Isaac Weigel, in the C Final, was 18th with a time of 1:37.49, along
Colton Rasmussen's 23rd-place finish (1:38.95).
Eddy Chen (56.77) and
David Ji (59.98) took 23rd and 24th respectively in the 100 breast C Final.
Logan Pack was the lone finalist in the 100 back and placed 20th with a time of 48.83 seconds.
Pack, Ye, Dvoretskiy and Park were eighth in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:16.46.
Three competed in the 1000 free, with Erwin leading the way in 13th (9:12.36).
The Big Green remain in eighth place, now having 281 points, with one day remaining. Harvard maintained the top spot with 1,124 points.
Saturday, the final day of the 2024 Ivy League Championships, will feature the 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, 3-meter dive and the 400 free relay.
