NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Dartmouth men's tennis team found a singles win from
Alex Knox-Jones, but suffered a 6-1 loss at Yale on Sunday afternoon, unable to ride the momentum of Friday's 6-1 victory over Brown.
Â
Miles Groom and
Waleed Qadir were victorious at No. 3 doubles, but the Bulldogs still came away with the point and did more than enough in singles to seal the win.
Â
Knox-Jones' triumph came in three-set fashion over Aidan Reilly on Court 5. The junior now has back-to-back Ivy League singles wins to his credit, having defeated Brown's Xander Bravo on Friday.
Â
The Big Green are back on the road next weekend, visiting Columbia on Saturday, April 13 and Cornell the following day.
