PRINCETON, N.J. – Dartmouth women's volleyball student athlete
Kauany Gutz has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. This is Gutz's first career Player of the Week nod.

Gutz played 13 sets for the Big Green over three matches this past weekend. Throughout the weekend, she had 57 kills, 44 digs, eight blocks, three aces and a total of 63.5 points. She recorded an efficiency of .268 while averaging 4.38 kills per set and 2.62 digs per set. She produced two double doubles this past weekend versus Lindenwood (12 kills, 10 digs) and Northeastern (30 kills, 17 digs). Her kills and digs from Northeastern were both career highs for the junior. For all her effort during the weekend, Gutz was named to the Northeastern Tournament All-Tournament Team.

The Big Green are back in action when they travel to Storrs to compete in the UConn Invite Sept. 13 - Sept. 15. They will play against UAlbany, Delaware State and close out the weekend against the host, UConn.
