PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—Dartmouth women's tennis fell 4-3 to Cornell on Sunday to close out the 2025 ECAC Indoor Championship.
Doubles
Peyton Capuano and Michela Moore were paired up in first doubles on Sunday afternoon. The duo who was recently ranked 87th in Division I notched a 6-2 for the Big Green.
Despite the first doubles win, Dartmouth fell in doubles as Elizabeth Fahrmeier and Elise Wong fell 7-6 in second doubles and Brooke Hess and Sam Grosjean fell 7-5 in third doubles.
Singles
The Big Green took three singles matches on Sunday.
Grosjean was slotted in third singles and despite falling 6-4 in the first set, she won the second set 6-3 to force a tiebreaker. In the third set she took the win by winning the set 6-2.
Lauren Han picked up a two-set win in fourth singles on Sunday. She won the first set 6-4 and then closed out the match with a 6-1 win in the second set.
Caroline Lemcke played fifth singles for the Big Green. The sophomore won the first set 6-2 and then secured the win with a 7-5 win in the second set.
The Big Green are off next weekend before traveling to Charlotte, NC for a pair of matches. On Saturday, Feb. 22 the Big Green take on Appalachian State at 1 PM before facing off with Charlotte on Feb. 23 at 1 PM.
