Takeda and Ren Earn Regional Rankings
HANOVER, N.H.—The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced their regional rankings this week. Dartmouth men's tennis has been ranked fourth in the New England Regional while Hikaru Takeda has been ranked eighth in singles, Henry Ren has earned a 13th ranking for singles.
The Big Green were ranked in the top 75 on multiple occasions and ended the regular season ranked 73rd. Dartmouth finished the season with a 13-10 record; the 13 wins is the most since 2018-19 for the Big Green.
Takeda earned an All-Ivy Honorable Mention in 2024-25 as he had a 3-3 Ivy League record along with a dual match record of 11-7 and an overall record of 17-12. The three Ivy League wins in the most by a member of the Big Green since the 2021-22.
Ren missed the fall season but had solid spring season with a 12-8 record. He was a mainstay in the second singles position for most of the season, in the second single position he had a 10-6 record.
