HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth women's squash played three matches this weekend with two coming at home. The Big Green fell 6-3 to Amherst and 8-1 to Cornell before defeating Columbia 5-4 on Sunday to close the weekend.
Dartmouth at Amherst (L, 6-3)
Dartmouth's three wins came in the second, sixth, and seventh position.
Xiang Xiang Liu earned a win for the Big Green in the second position. She won the first game 12-10 and dominated the second game 11-3. She fell 11-9 in the third game but won the match with an 11-9 win in the fourth game.
Nathalie Yalor won in three games in the sixth match. She opened the match with a 13-11 win and followed it up with a 11-5 win in the second game. She earned the win with an 11-7 win in the third game.
Kriti Muthu battled for a three game win in the seventh position, she won the opening game 11-9 to take the early lead. She then took the second game 11-8 and the third 11-6.

The Big Green won just one match against the Big Red on Saturday.
Liu swept her second position match on Saturday. She won the opening game 11-9 before taking the second game 11-8. She secured the sweep with an 11-6 win in the third game.
Ellie Clifford played in the third position and won one game in her match. She fell 15-13 in the opening game and 11-9 in the second game. She forced a fourth game after winning the third game 11-6. She eventually fell 11-6 in the fourth game.

Dartmouth vs Columbia
The Big Green and Lions battled on Sunday for a valuable Ivy League win. Liu, Clifford, Maya Shroff, Callie Worth, and Uma Patnaik had the wins for the Big Green.
Liu picked up her third win of the weekend in the second position. She won the opening game 11-5 but fell 14-12 in the second game. She responded with third and fourth game wins by scores of 11-7 and 11-3.
Clifford notched a three game win in the third position. She won the opening game 11-5 and then the second game 11-6. She dominated the third game and completed the sweep with a 3-0 win.
Shroff battled back for a four game win after dropping the opening set 11-9. She won the second game 11-7, the third 11-8, and won the match with a 11-9 win in the fourth game.
Worth took a three game win in the eighth position. She won the opening game 11-4 before taking a 2-0 lead with an 11-5 win in the second game. She earned the sweep with an 11-8 win in the third game.
Patnaik was locked in a back and forth match in the ninth position. The opening game went 38 points with Patnaik edging out her opponent 20-18. The second game was not as close as Patnaik won 11-4. Patnaik fell 13-11 in the third game but secured the win with an 11-8 win in the fourth game.
