SOPHOMORE (2025)
Made 22 starts for the Big Green, coming off the bench in an additional seven… Had a breakout series vs. Harvard, going 1-for-3 in game one with three RBI and a run scored, added an RBI in game 2, and going 2-for-4 with one run scored and four RBI in the series finale, helping Dartmouth to the series win over the Crimson… Drove in over half the Big Green’s runs in a midweek victory over Holy Cross, going 2-for-5 with two RBI… Added multi-RBI games against Boston College (2) and Columbia (3)… Made only two errors in the field, improving his fielding percentage by nearly 70 points.
FIRST-YEAR (2024)
Missed only ten games for the Big Green in his first season, making 27 starts but appearing in 29 games ... recorded his first RBI in his first start of the season at North Florida, collecting his first hit two games later at LMU ... had his only two-RBI game of the season at home against Columbia, going 1-for-2 with a run, collecting one RBI on a single and his second on a bases loaded hit by pitch ... played most of his games in the infield between shortstop and second base.
HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letter winner at Thomas Downey for Coach Justin Schwitters, serving as captain as a junior and senior … all-state honorable mention after senior year … two-time all-region and all-conference … also lettered four times in basketball and three times as a wide receiver in football, captaining the latter squad in his final season … football team was 19-3 over his last two years, winning the conference title both seasons … received all-conference honors twice in football, first team as a senior, second team the prior year … helped hoops team go 23-6 as a senior guard, winning the league championship … Sac-Hi Sports Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2023.

Full name is Camden Saldana Rush … born on Jan. 29, 2005 in Modesto, California … son of Trevor and April has one brother … father played baseball at Cal State Fullerton from 1989-91 … grandfather Jim Willoughby played collegiately at Cal-Berkeley before embarking on an eight-year MLB career for the San Francisco Giants, Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox, winning 26 games and saving 34 as primarily a reliever … pondering a major in economics with a business career in mind … enjoys camping and hiking as well as reading and watching combat sports … does everything right-handed except write.
