Did not issue a walk and struck out seven in his eight innings before the COVID-19 pandemic brought the season to a premature end … limited to four innings in his season debut due to a pitch count limit after returning from an injury, but was impressive in the 6-2 win over Chicago State, tossing four innings of one-run ball on four hits with six strikeouts and no walks … battled Virginia for four frames the following weekend in his other start, yielding four runs.

Finished his rookie campaign second on the team in wins, ERA and strikeouts, third in innings pitched and starts on the mound … got the starting nod in the fourth game of the season for his collegiate debut, hurling five frames without walking a batter at UTSA … picked up his first win in his second start, going 4.1 innings of a scheduled seven-inning contest, allowing just one run on two hits, two walks with five strikeouts in the 6-1 triumph over Fairleigh Dickinson … named Ivy League Rookie of the Week for his performance against the Knights … twirled a scoreless inning of relief in a 3-2 loss to Wayne State on the spring trip … had a no-hitter going for 5.1 innings at USF but ultimately was stuck with the loss in 6.1 innings of three-hit ball, yielding three runs and striking out four in a 4-1 defeat … tossed five innings of two-run relief in the final game against Princeton … held Harvard in check for six stanzas, surrendering four hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out a season-high six batters in a 15-7 victory … garnered Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors again for his win over the Crimson … ended the year with a season-high 6.2 innings of one-run ball, allowing just three hits and one walk to Cornell in his final win of the season, 6-1.
