Selected for All-Ivy League Second Team as a starting pitcher … chosen by his teammates as Dartmouth’s Pitcher of the Year … led the league in fewest walks per nine innings (1.97) and was second in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.77) … topped the team in wins (6, third in the conference), strikeouts (49) and ERA (4.85) … toss out his opening start and his ERA falls nearly a full point for the rest of the season to 3.88 … earned first win of the season at Gardner-Webb, giving up two runs over the first five frames before tiring in the sixth of an 11-7 victory … season turned around for the Big Green with his defeat of Bradley, 5-4, as he provided six stanzas of four-run ball, fanning four … twirled six innings of shutout ball against Brown, striking out seven, but did not get a decision in a 4-2 loss … got back in the win column the next week by surrendering a solitary run on five hits over 7.2 frames with seven more punchouts in a 2-1 triumph at Penn, earning Ivy League Pitcher of the Week honors along the way … provided six innings of one-run ball on seven hits and seven strikeouts to pick up the 11-6 win over Princeton … after Dartmouth lost the opener at Cornell, he tossed a career-high 8.0 innings and struck out a personal-best 10 batters without a walk in a 12-2 rout of the Big Red … did not get a decision following another quality start against Manhattan (6.2 IP, five hits, two runs, no walks, four strikeouts) in a 3-2 loss … a day after suffering a loss against Columbia, came back the next day to contribute three outs in the 10th that allowed the Big Green to rally in the bottom half for a walk-off, 12-11 victory to give him his sixth win of the year and clinch the series with the eventual Ivy League champion.
