Tied for the Ivy League lead with five triples and ranked fourth nationally in three-baggers per game … also topped the league with eight sacrifice bunts, twice as many as any other player and 11th in Division I on a per-game basis … reached on a bunt single for his first collegiate hit, then came around to score the game’s only run in a 1-0 win at Gardner-Webb … belted first career home run the very next day against the Bulldogs … went 2-or-5 with a two-run triple and a squeeze bunt to produce a season-high three RBIs in the 14-4 win at Yale … finished the series with two more hits, scoring twice and driving in another to help clinch the series in an 11-4 triumph over the Elis … singled, tripled, walked twice, stole two bases and scored five runs — the first Big Green player to do so in 14 years — as Dartmouth finished a series sweep of Princeton, 16-7 … swatted another three-bagger the very next game at Cornell … scored what proved to be the winning run in the ninth as he walked twice and scored twice in the 8-6 victory at Harvard … helped break open the series finale against the Crimson with another RBI triple, then scored in what turned into a 15-2 laugher … hit safely in each of the final three games of the year with one last triple, helping the Green earn a series victory over Columbia.
