Tied for the Ivy League lead with five triples for the second straight year and ranked 13th nationally in three-baggers per game … only player on the team to appear in all 41 contests …did not commit an error in 80 chances in center field … hit safely in five of the first six games, starting with a 2-for-4 performance with two runs and an RBI in the season opener at 22nd-ranked Miami … smacked the first two doubles of his career and scored a season-high four runs in the first game against Wagner in North Carolina … came off the bench to go 2-for-2 versus Penn State … ripped a three-run triple at South Florida tying a career-high with three RBIs and breaking a scoreless deadlock en route to a 6-1 Big Green victory … average was sitting at .355 after the first 10 games (11-for-31) … went 2-for-4 with a three-bagger, run and RBI in the second game against Penn … made ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays of the Day with a terrific diving catch to preserve a 2-0 lead in the eighth against Yale … reached base four times (two singles, walk, hit by pitch), scored three runs and drove in another, plus tracked down a career-high seven fly balls, in the second game at Columbia … tripled and scored at Holy Cross … tied a Big Green single-game record with two triples in the second game at Brown plus scored two of the team’s three runs … scored the first Dartmouth run in the finale against the Bears and broke a 1-1 tie in the seventh by getting plunked with the bases loaded, leading to a 2-1 Dartmouth win … also delivered the game-winning RBI in the seventh inning of the other Big Green victory, singling home the tie-breaking run of a 3-2 triumph over Cornell … collected seventh multi-hit game in the season finale at Sacred Heart … really cut down on his strikeouts over the final 15 games, fanning just five times in 57 at-bats.

Tied for the Ivy League lead with five triples and ranked fourth nationally in three-baggers per game … also topped the league with eight sacrifice bunts, twice as many as any other player and 11th in Division I on a per-game basis … reached on a bunt single for his first collegiate hit, then came around to score the game’s only run in a 1-0 win at Gardner-Webb … belted first career home run the very next day against the Bulldogs … went 2-or-5 with a two-run triple and a squeeze bunt to produce a season-high three RBIs in the 14-4 win at Yale … finished the series with two more hits, scoring twice and driving in another to help clinch the series in an 11-4 triumph over the Elis … singled, tripled, walked twice, stole two bases and scored five runs — the first Big Green player to do so in 14 years — as Dartmouth finished a series sweep of Princeton, 16-7 … swatted another three-bagger the very next game at Cornell … scored what proved to be the winning run in the ninth as he walked twice and scored twice in the 8-6 victory at Harvard … helped break open the series finale against the Crimson with another RBI triple, then scored in what turned into a 15-2 laugher … hit safely in each of the final three games of the year with one last triple, helping the Green earn a series victory over Columbia.
