Bio
Arrived without great fanfare and showed early on that his hands were as good as any on the team...Broke a finger during spring and still went through every pass-catching (and conditioning) drill...Showed uncanny ability to bring in the ball with one hand while the other was in a cast.
2007: Caught coaches’ attention by catching the ball consistently in practice...Had a 39-yard grab for the jayvees against powerful Milford Academy and another catch against Bridgton.
High School: Had 41 of his team’s 78 receptions for 701 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior...Biggest game came against Dartmouth classmate Matt Oh and his Greenhill School teammates when he caught six passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns...Also played lacrosse at Kincaid as a midfielder.
Personal: Worked during the summer for Cypress Asset Management, a private wealth management firm in Houston...Can tell an interesting story about crashing a debutante ball after a party at the Hotel Crillon in Paris...Had tea with the former Queen of Iran.
