Bio
A four-year letterwinner in cross country and track and field, Chase Eldredge graduated from Chapel Hill High School. In 2004, he was the State Champion in the Two Miler and in 2006, he was the Individual County Champion in cross country. In 2007, Eldregde was the Individual County and Regional cross country Champion, while his cross country team were the State Champions. Eldregde's Sophomore through Senior years he earned All-State Honors.
Upon graduating from Dartmouth, Chase plans to pursue a career in Business.
Chase is the son of Todd and Kim Eldregde, and he has one brother and one sister.

Why Dartmouth?
I highly enjoyed my recruiting visit to Dartmouth. The team atmosphere, trail running, and coaching is amazing. Dartmouth is a great school and in a fun community so I knew it was a good fit.
How long have you been cross country and what got you interested in cross country?
Both my parents were runners, so I've been running races since elementary school. I began to get competitive with my running and training in 8th grade.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
In highschool I was training one day and didn't duck enough under a fallen tree. After hitting the tree I had to run 3 miles back to the parking lot and then go to the emergency room to get 7 staples in my head. Great times!
What are your future plans, if any?
I'm superly optimistic about trying to be overly happy at least 97% of the time.
