Bio
Senior (2011-2012): Summers had a successful senior season for the Big Green, highlighted with a 1st place finish in the sub-varsity race at the New England Championship, helping the team defend its victory. Finished 42nd at Mayor's Cup. Ran a new personal best time of 3:55.55 for 1500m at the Twilight Invitational and a season-best of 14:20.91 for 5000m at Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational.
Junior (2010-11): Summers finished in the top five for the Big Green in two different races during the cross country season ... finished fifth at the Keene Invitational, and placed 42nd at the New England Championship.
Before Dartmouth: Summers graduated from Kingswood High School where he was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and track and a two-year letterwinner in nordic skiing ... holds the school record in four events including 5K, 1600m, 800m, and 3200m ... in 2008, he was the 1600m Class I Champion ... in his junior and senior years, Summers was named to both the Class I cross country All-State and All-Star teams ... at Kingswood, Summers was a member of the National Honor Society and the honors band in which he was given the John Phillips Souza Award.
Personal: Dylan Summers is the son of Brent Summers and Laura Maroon, and he has one brother.
