Came to Dartmouth after a stellar high school career that saw him win the Illinois state meet in the 1600 with a great time of 4:09 ... was Dartmouth’s top runner in XC at the Keatinge Inv. until an injury prematurely ended his season ... scored in the Heps 1500 as a frosh in a PR time ... finished his season at the USATF Junior Nationals at Ohio State where he placed fifth ... a future Ivy League champion in the mile and 1500...Will be a key runner on the XC squad this fall.

High School: Thomas Robbins was a three sport letter winner at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illionois competing in cross country, track and field and lacrosse. His senior year, Robbins captained both the cross country and track teams. In 2007, Robbins was the Individual Illinois State Champion in the 1600 M run. He also earned All-State honors his junior and senior years in both track and cross country and was named the team MVP in both sports, both years.
Robbins has a brother who played lacrosse at Cornell and two sisters. His parents are Morley and Martha Robbins.

Extracurriculars: Environmental Conservation Organization member (Founding member of Green Lite Dartmouth)

I love the outdoors and the challenging academic atmosphere.
How long have you been cross country and what got you interested in cross country?
I have been running cross country for 7 years now. My brother and sister got me
interested in Cross Country.
Have you won any academic or cross country awards recently?
I have recently be named the athlete of the week for this week and was the most
valuable freshmen 2 years ago.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your
teammates.
There are no secrets on our team. They know me all too well.
What are your future plans, if any?
I plan to run professionally after college and attend graduate school.
