Owen Lynch hails from Rumford, Rhode Island and attended Bishop Feehan High School.
Dartmouth Career
2011-12: During his junior season, Lynch competed in competed in three events. Shot a season low 77 in the final round of the Big Five Invitational.. best finish was tied for 58th at The Classic.
2010-11: Competed in five of Dartmouth's eight events ... His best finish was when he tied for 15th at the Harford Hawk Invite with a two-round score of 150 ... At the MacDonald Cup, he shot a two-round score of 146 and tied for 18th place.
2009-10: Owen placed 23rd in the Dartmouth Invitational to help the Dartmouth Green place 1st overall.
Before Dartmouth: While at Bishop Feehan, Lynch lettered in golf all four years, as well as basketball for two and tennis for one year ... In 2007, Lynch was the Rhode Island State Junior Amateur Individual Champion ... In his sophomore, junior, and senior years, Lynch was named an EAC All-Star as well as an All-Area All-Star ... In his senior year, he was named Honorable Mention All-State by the Boston Globe ... Is the son of John and Mary-Kathryn Lynch and has two brothers and two sisters.
