2011-2012 (Freshman): Neumann had a successful first season for the Big Green, highlighted by winning the discus throw at the UNH Invitational and placing 3rd in the discus at Princeton's Sam Howell Invitational.

Before Dartmouth: Jacob Neumann attended Chatham High and participated in indoor and outdoor track. He was the team captain for outdoor track his junior and senior year, and team captain for indoor track his senior year. Neumann was awarded fifth place at SMOC for discus, and was honored with All Area and All County awards for discus.

Personal: Jacob Neumann is the son of Timothy and Martha and has one brother and one sister.
