Before Dartmouth: Jacob attended East Catholic High School in Manchester, Connecticut. He was a four year letterwinner in Outdoor Track and a two year letterwinner in Indoor Track. His senior year, Jacob was captain of his Indoor and Outdoor Track teams. He set the Javelin school record and was awarded Conn. High School Coaches Association All State honors for both Indoor and Outdoor Track. At Dartmouth, Jacob plans on studying Economics.

Personal: Jacob is the son of Nathan and Suzanne. He has one brother and one sister.
