Before Dartmouth: Samuel lettered in both indoor and outdoor track during his junior and senior year…served as the captain for both teams his senior season…named New Jersey State Sectional team champion his junior season and State Champion individual champion in outdoor track his senior season…named to the 1^st Team All-League and 1^st Team All-County in both indoor and outdoor track as well as 1^st Team All-North Jersey for outdoor track during his senior season.

Personal: Samuel is the son of Paul and Helen Siegel...has one sister… participated in the National Honor Society and peer mentoring throughout high school.
