Sean Adam Nelson is a sophomore jumper for the Dartmouth Big Green with three years of high school varsity training and two years of collegiate competition under his belt. He is a graduate of The Altamont School in Birmingham, AL and his parents are Henry and Marlene Nelson.

Nelson was a member of the Indoor track team that won the State Championship title in 2003 and 2004. He was named the 7-time All State Indoor Track and Field Runner Up State Champion for the 400m, the State Champion in the 4x200m and 4x400m relays, and was also 2-time All State Outdoor Track and Field.

Nelson was also an active member of his school. He was a member of student government and a National Achievement Scholar Finalist, and he was named the State Champion of the Original Oratory and Poetry Interpretation contest.

He is currently studying Economics and French, and plans to work in Finance after he graduates. Nelson is also a performing member of the Dartmouth Aires.
