Coach Vogt on Mallery: Kelly is a natural fielder who will compete for time at short stop this season. She has good range, athletic feet and a quick transfer. At the
plate Kelly has shown the potential to add power to our line-up. 2008: Made 22 appearances with 20 starts...Had six hits with five runs scored...Hit one home run while knocking in two runs...Went 2-for-3 in back-to-back games...Against Tennessee-Martin and Northern Iowa she had two hits in three at-bats with one run scored against UT-Martin and two against Northern Iowa.
