Bio
Annie Daher had an impact on the Dartmouth women's golf team as a freshman, earning her first varsity letter and a regular spot in the lineup. She finished the season with the Northeast Championship, leading Dartmouth to third place with rounds of 83-82 -- 165. Her collegiate low score of 77 came at the Bryant Invitational.
A 2003 graduate of Acalanes High School, Daher was a two-sport athlete, competing in soccer as well as golf. In 2002-03, she helped Acalanes to league and county championships in ngolf and in 2000-01, she was a part of the league championship soccer team.
She earned three varsity letters in golf and was elected captain. During her prep career, Daher earned All-League recognition on the golf course, playing at the No. 1 position for two years. As a senior, she helped Acalanes advance to the California state championship.
One of her extracurricular acitivites is horseback riding -- she was the 2001 youth national champion in the Half-Arabian trail division. As a native Californian, it's not surprising that her favorite golf course is Pebble Beach. She said "I think Pebble Beach is unbeatable, both in its layout and breathtaking beauty."
Her best round at Dartmouth was a 77 at the Bryant Invitational during the fall season, and her "dream" foursome would include her dad, Joe, along with Phil Mickelson and Fred Couples. Mickelson is the player she most admires "because he is so creative and exciting to watch."
Her favorite club in the bag is the driver, and Daher relies on it under pressure.
