Q and A with Liz
Why Dartmouth?
I visited Dartmouth at the end of the summer before senior year, and fell in love with the campus. The opportunities at Dartmouth to try new things and get involved with the various groups within the DOC really interested me, and I liked the flexibility the quarter system provides.
How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?
I started rowing my sophomore year in high school. The majority of the swimmers in my school also did crew, and encouraged me to try it out, and I loved it!
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
I've actually cracked my head open three times.
What extra curricular activities are you involved with on campus?
I'm a member of the DMC (Dartmouth Mountaineering Club - the climbing group on campus), and an usher at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
What are your future plans, if any?
I'm going to try to get the most out of my Dartmouth experience, and we'll see what happens after that!
