Former standout setter Katie Hirsch is in her third season as an assistant coach for the Dartmouth women's volleyball team. During her time as an assistant coach, the Big Green improved from 11-13 her first season to 14-11 in her second year.
A four-year starter, Hirsch played in every set of every match for Dartmouth, etching her name in the record books. She was given her third All-Ivy award with a first-team nod, and was selected all-tournament at the Crimson Classic and the URI Ram Classic. She was tied for the lead in team service aces with 42, which also tied for the third highest single-season total. Her season highlight was in a victory over Cornell. Hirsch recorded a triple-double with 10 kills, 12 digs and 59 assists.
In her junior campaign, Hirsch played all 86 sets, and led the team with 992 assists. She earned honorable mention All-Ivy, and recorded 10 double-doubles with one triple-double against Harvard.
