The Dartmouth women’s rugby team downed the Harvard Crimson, 15-10, to win their third NIRA crown on a brisk Saturday evening.
Ariana Ramsey was named Most Valuable Player after scoring Dartmouth's only two tries of the defensive battle. The program's first-ever Olympian wraps up her collegiate career with three NIRA titles to her credit.
With Harvard leading 5-3, Ramsey electrified the crowd minutes later, receiving an offload from Sophia Haley before juking one defender and fending off another en route to her 10
th try of the season. The fifth-year senior scored the only other try in the game in the final minutes of the first half.
