The Dartmouth women’s rugby team won six straight matches this week at the CRAA 7s National Championship in Indianapolis, Ind. Following wins over LIU, Penn State, and Davenport in pool play, the Big Green defeated Princeton 34-5 in the quarterfinals, then downed Army 19-5 to move onto the National Championship. In the final, Dartmouth took on Life with the CRAA National Championship on the line. The Big Green dominated the Running Eagles with a 31-0 win to capture the programs first CRAA 7s National Championship. Paola Arredondo Almedia led the Big Green with 10 tries through the six games while Katelyn Walker was named Tournament MVP as she notched five tries with two coming in the final game.
