Junior goalkeeper
Andrew Goldstein made 10 saves, backstopping the Dartmouth men's lacrosse team to a 15-6 victory over Quinnipiac on Tuesday.
The victory was the fourth straight for the Big Green, whose record jumped to 4-1 on the year.
Dartmouth opened the game with goals by juniors
Ben Grinnell and
Matt Heineman for a quick 2-0 advantage and never trailed after that.
Quinnipiac's Andy Pelletier scored late in the first quarter , but Dartmouth netted three unanswered goals in the second. The sophomore trio of
Jamie Coffin ,
Brad Heritage and
Alec Hufnagel pushed the Big Green lead to 5-1 at halftime.
At the start of the third period, Coffin scored two more times and Grinnell added another for an 8-1 advantage.
Dartmouth is home at Scully-Fahey Field on Saturday, hosting Fairfield at 3:30 p.m.
