Big Green Men's Tennis Falters Against Utah

Hanover, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's tennis team continued its winning ways by handling Manhattan College 6-1, for its seventh-straight win.

The No. 1 and No. 2 doubles teams took care of business early going up a serve break right away. Waslen/Freeman were impressive in their 8-3 victory. Schechtman/McGaughey dropped a serve game late but broke back with Manhattan serving 6-7 and securing the doubles point.

Stephen McGaughey once again was the first player off the court with another 6-1, 6-1 victory and putting the Green up 2-0. Daniel Freeman finished his match shortly after Steve putting the Green up 3-0.

David Waslen had a tough one going up against Bogdan Borta Manhattan's top player at No. 1 singles. Waslen fought hard, but could not quite pull it off at 4-6, 4-6. Freshman Justin Tzou put the Green in the win column with a straight set win at the No. 4 spot.

The next matches will be next Friday at Davidson College in N.C. and on Saturday verses UNC Greensboro and at UNC Chapel Hill.
