The doubles point was a struggle right from the outset with the No. 3 team going down quickly 8-1. The No. 1 team of David Waslen and Daniel Freeman went down a break but fought back from at 4-6 deficit to win. At No. 2, Jeffrey Schechtman and Steven McGaughey went up a break early only to end up down 5-6 serving. The duo then held, broke and held to win 8-6 and ensure
The singles matches were equally challenging. Freeman and Justin Tzou both lost their first sets while Schechtman won a tight 7-5 first set and Waslen dominated his first set to split the first set matches on the courts. The Green came on strong winning three of the four second sets with only Waslen falling 7-6 in the second.
McGaughey once again came up with an impressive straight set victory at No. 6 while Ari Gayer came up short at No. 5 after splitting sets losing a match breaker 10-8.
