Dartmouth Shuts Down Boston College

Hanover, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's tennis team continued in its winning ways tonight with a solid 6-1 win over the Boston College Eagles.

Senior Steven McGaughey led the singles players off the court with an impressive 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles. Rookie Daniel Freeman continued his impressive play at the No. 2 spot with a solid straight set victory at No. 2 singles. Jeffrey Schechtman finished the Eagles off with a solid 7-5, 6-1 match to give Dartmouth its fourth point to clinch the match.

The only loss of the evening came at the hands of Boston College's No. 1, Soma Kesthely, who defeated David Waslen 6-3, 7-6.

Dartmouth moves to 6-1 on the season with the win. Next up the Big Green faces defending MAAC Champions Manhattan at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
