Hanover, N.H.- The Big Green men's swimming and diving team dropped a tough meet against the Boston University Terriers 189.5-110.5 on Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Karl Michael Pool.

Highlighting the meet for the Big Green was a huge win and personal best in the 50-yard Freestyle event by Alex Fidel (Pheonix, Ariz.) with a time of 21.91, his first time breaking 22 seconds in the event.

Also picking up a win for Dartmouth was Joe Braunreuther (South Orange, N.J.) who won the 1000-yard Freestyle event with a time of 9:51.87, winning by just under four seconds.

The loss for the Big Green moved its overall record to 1-5 on the season.

The next meet for Dartmouth men's swimming and diving will be against Yale and Penn in New Haven, Conn. on Jan. 19. This event starts at 11 a.m.
