Dartmouth Men's Squash Wins Two out of Three Matches over the Weekend

HANOVER, N.H. ? The Dartmouth men's squash team traveled to Cornell for a pair of games on Saturday, defeating Hamilton, 9-0 before losing to Cornell, 6-3. On Sunday the Big Green defeated St. Lawrence, 9-0 in Canton, N.Y.

At the Belkin International Squash Courts in Ithaca the Big Red and Big Green traded wins back and forth in the top of the order, but with wins at positions 7-9 Cornell pulled through with the victory. Nick Sisodia shutout his opponents 3-0 at the No. 2 position. Cornell and Dartmouth each earned two wins in 3-2 matches. At No. 8, Stephen Wetherill tried to hang out by taking the first two games but Amar Gupta came-from-behind victory at the eighth position (6-9, 9-0, 6-9, 9-4, 9-6).

Against Hamilton College in the early match Dartmouth dominated, winning all nine matches. The same was said of the Big Green's match against St. Lawrence on Sunday as Dartmouth swept all but one game as Sisodia won all three of his matches on the weekend. Mike Lewis was also a big winner as he earned three victories.
