Rewalt comes to Hanover after serving as an assistant coach at William & Mary this past season, helping develop five All-CAA players for the Tribe. She assisted in all areas of the program including player development, scouting, recruiting and marketing.
"I am delighted that Erin has joined our staff," said Wielgus. "She has a passion for Dartmouth and this program as well as a great work ethic and love of the game and brings a unique skills set to the job. She has been successful wherever she has gone and I am happy to welcome her back to Dartmouth."
A standout player in her own right, Rewalt was named All-Ivy in each of her four seasons in Hanover, including second team honors as both a junior and senior. As a senior captain, Rewalt led Dartmouth to the 1998-99 Ivy Championship and an NCAA Tournament bid. She led the Big Green in rebounding in her last three seasons and ranks eighth all-time in career rebounds with 708 and 20th in scoring with 897 points.
Prior to her return to college basketball in 2009, Rewalt had a successful business career, working for General Electric in both its corporate and real estate divisions from 2004-09.
Rewalt graduated from Dartmouth with a degree in government in 1999 and earned her master's of business administration from the Tuck School in 2004.
